At Bradford SENDIASS we offer advice and support around various topics relating to Special Educational Needs and disabilities (SEND) for children and young people aged 0-25 living in the Bradford District and their families.
We offer telephone and email advice, social media, information packs, casework, drop in sessions, workshops, training for professionals, a parent steering group, children’s focus groups and support to young people who access our service independently.
We host virtual support and drop-in sessions using the live chat function on this website. Please see bottom right-hand corner to access this function.
Our opening hours are Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm. Our contracted response time is 3 working days
Barnardos Bradford are currently recruiting to admin roles and whilst we do have cover in place for SENDIASS calls from time to time you may find that your call goes to answerphone. Please rest assured that the answerphone is checked daily and all calls are added to the enquiry spreadsheet for a callback or email response within our usual timeframe of 3-5 working days, so there is no need to call us again within that time. Please leave your name, contact details and a short overview of what you would like our advice on and we will get back to you as soon as possible. If you need a specific time you may prefer to request an email response. Alternatively you can use the contact us form on our website to send us your enquiry and we will respond within 3-5 working days. Contact us (online form) | Barnardo's (barnardossendiass.org.uk)

Barnardo’s is very proud to be working towards the Cultural Cohesion Quality Mark (CCQM) to show our commitment to embracing diversity, challenging racism and celebrating harmonious relationships.
The Cultural Cohesion Quality Mark (CCQM) is awarded to organisations and communities who can demonstrate improvements in their cultural competency. CCQM supports organisations and communities to develop knowledge, understanding and behaviours needed for individuals to enjoy living and working in places where cultural diversity is recognised, appreciated, and promoted. The aim is to improve equality, reduce discrimination, and enable equal access to opportunities for every citizen.
