Welcome to the Gateshead SENDIASS, we offer free impartial, confidential information and advice for children and young people aged 0-25 and their parents and carers where a child or young person has or may have special educational needs or disability.

We are open Monday - Thursday, 09:00-17:00 and Friday, 09:00-16:30.

SEND-specific swimming lessons at Dunston and Blaydon

Go Gateshead are offering weekly SEND-specific swimming sessions at Dunston and Blaydon Leisure Centres: Dunston Leisure Centre: Saturday 10am-11am Blaydon Leisure Centre: Sunday 3pm-4pm. This session is intended to be a quieter session aimed at families who have children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This dedicated session will give an opportunity for the whole family to swim in a friendly, non-judgemental environment.
